Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rapping. Baker was born into a English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A., on the 22nd of April in 1991. As a child, he spent a great deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker battled depression as well as joblessness. His mother Sonia Alane dumped him at age nine. Baker and his father relocated to Denver and lived in the home of his father's Aunt. Baker had to endure bullying from other youngsters because of his poor status. As a sixth-grader, he started listening to hip-hop. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock in his music compositions. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland artist, who can deliver the lyrics with as much speed as a bullet-train, experienced an astonishing rise towards the end of 2011 when he switched from self-publishing mixtapes to working with respected labels. The profile of the Cleveland rapper rocketed when the release of his first mixtape late in 2011.
